In the Video Plain-Air (2009), Weiss captures the air planes passing through the city's skies. Using stop motion technique, she shrunk a couple of months into several minutes, emphasizing the continuous human-mechanical threatening activity happening above. Weiss attempts to set a new world order in the Video, calling these airplanes to land on her rooftop. A fantasy of controlling and neutralizing the ongoing violent activity around and calling for redemption from the isolated island-like roof.
